I am an adult 6ft 2 in 75 kg and i cannot wait to get back to run as often as i was doing . How long it will take to fully recovery to get back to full running? Many thanks to you all ❤

How does it look so good? I had one foot done and now I’m glad they refused to do both when I suggested it. lol But my foot looks more deformed and hurts more after even having a corrective surgery after the first one. I’m done though. Not touching the other foot and now I’m living in chronic ugly foot on both sides pain. So … ugh. This looks so good

I'll tell you, Dr. Weil was the 3rd DPM I saw, and the only one that offered the advanced treatment option I was looking for, and cured my condition and restored my quality of life - as least as far as my 3-year horrendous foot pain is concerned. Forever grateful.

It seems doubtful to me, that without surgery you can eliminate bunions.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Hook from Weil Ankle Institute. He performed surgery on my ankle for a torn ligament in March 2023. I have since found out I never should have had surgery and should have been prescribed physical therapy. Also found out that his fellow, Edgar Sy, did a large portion of the surgery without my consent or knowledge. Have had nothing but complications post op. I also fell in the surgery center right after surgery and injured my foot and Dr. Hook has done nothing to help my situation. His staff put me on crutches to use the restroom just after waking up from surgery. I had a nerve block in my foot and leg and a cast. I fell in the bathroom and smashed my foot on the floor. Dr. Hook and the Advocate Condell Surgery Center in Libertyville have done nothing to assist with this situation. I have spoken with numerous attorneys and this is blatant malpractice, but no one will take responsibility. Dr. Hook actually wanted to do surgery on my foot again to fix it from the fall. His only remedy seems to be surgery for every situation. I was in excruciating pain for months so I sought second opinion at Illinois Bone and Joint. They ordered an MRI and EMG . I have extensive nerve damage in my foot and in my leg. The MRI shows that the ligament Dr. Hook supposedly repaired is still torn. I had a follow up appointment with Dr. Hook. He read the EMG and looked at the image of the MRI and denied it was still torn. As I was in tears asking him what am I supposed to do now with a messed up foot and can't walk properly, his comment was that he does so many surgeries that he can't remember what was done with mine and sent me on my way. I'm filing a complain with the Illinois Department of Health. Sad when you trust a doctor and his staff to care for you, but their main objective is to bill your insurance company for the most expensive procedure.

Why prescribe anti-inflammatories when you are using the Topaz to initiate a pro inflammatory response in necrotic tissue? It sorts of cancels out the surgery. A 3-7 day script of narcotics is not going to get the patient dependent on them...

I had this done for my plantars fasciitis @the Weil Foot Institute and it was an absolute game changer ! I was in excruciating pain for nearly a year and after one session it helped so much! It was pretty painful for me, maybe because my plantar fasciitis was so bad, but either way worth it!

Dr Hook - he is extremely confident, thorough, & empathetic. He performed surgery on my ankle twice and took the time to get it done in a way that I am set up for success (broke heel & ankle 2 yrs ago & didn't heal correctly). I truly appreciate Dr Hook & the Weil Foot & Ankle staff!

Dr Hook is a execellent doctor he is very patient and caring I would highly recommend him.

I also have bunions on my both legs but they don't pain but they make me feel discorfortable

I was told my insurance covers custom orthotics every three years. Only after I my appointment to get them did I learn I have a $400 deductible. Also prior to the appointment I was scheduled for a foot x-ray costing over $100. Bottom line, be very wary of these doctors pushing for custom orthotics.

I had bunion and hammertoe surgery on 3-2 -2022. Not bad ! Hardest for me is being still. I wish I could have found a doctor to do them both at the same time. Still have a little pain and swelling. I go get stitches out today. 4 more weeks for pin in hammertoe . I feel the same about people telling me how bad it was for the surgery so I put it off for many years . My foot look amazing even with the swelling 👏 praise God and I also thank Dr Nathan Blanton of Cincinnati. Just do it ! Don't continue to put it off . Now I got to get the other one done. My life is busy but I Have to do it so my feet look the same. Wish you the best! God bless !

I'm almost 4 weeks post op and I still have alot of pain. Alot of what seems like hot poker stabbing maybe hornet stings. They say I shouldn't be having thus pain at this point. I'm not confident that I made the right decision in having this surgery. And my doctor didn't even mention physical therapy for my foot either. I'm just feeling so disappointed right now

i am 79 years old had minimally invasive surgery .. wide awake , with novacane only,, no pain during or after surgery .. now 10 weeks later i still have a bit of weeping , (is this normal) not much soreness, at the incision site,, not much swelling i have been in normal soft cloth shoes almost immediately.. ed in usa...
